👨🎨国画(guǒhuà ), the traditional Chinese painting, is one of the oldest artistic traditions; it involves essentially the same techniques as calligraphy, using a brush dipped in black or coloured ink. Oils are not used(different from Western styles). Painters often produce their masterpieces on paper and silk while other times on album sheets, walls, lacquerware, folding screens, etc. The finished work can be mounted on scrolls, both hanging and handscrolls.
There are two main techniques in Chinese painting: 1. 🌊水墨画(shuǐ mò huà) Ink and wash painting, also known as "literati painting,” as it was one of the "Four Arts" of the Chinese Scholar-official class. 2. ✒️工笔(Gōng bǐ), Gongbi, uses “meticulous, precise, and detailed strokes.” It is a realist technique as opposed to the interpretive and freely expressive 水墨画style; this is often practiced by artists working in the royal court. Additionally, these paintings are often colourful and depict digital or narrative subjects. . -🎋古文化系列gǔ wén huà xì liè 🎋 🎋Ancient Chinese Culture series- 🎋 Let us travel back in time, have a grasp of ancient Chinese arts and culture. 🏮🏮🏮 . . . #elitelinguistic#elitechinesesg#chinesetradition#chineseculture#chinesepainting#国画...
